49. Believe that you're a writer.

This is so important because if you don't believe that you are a writer, how do you expect the world to? I started "Counterfeit Dreams" back in 2005. At that time, I loved to write, but I would have never considered myself to be a "writer". Being a writer was a profession to me and not just a hobby, but I was a writer the whole time, and I just didn't know it yet. I got so much satisfaction from writing that I never received from anything else. It became my escape, and I soon realized that although I wasn't where I wanted to be within my career, I was making progress in the right direction. By claiming that I was a writer way before readers started recognizing my name and my work, I was speaking it into existence, and now, over 10 years later, I can believe and say with confidence that, "I am a writer." So, don't ever be afraid to do the same.
